Homemade Takeaways!
Who doesn’t love a takeaway??! When you are tired and don’t feel like cooking, or just fancy the lovely tastes that you just can’t quite copy at home. I LOVE Indian and Chinese takeaway food, and it’s really hard to get recipes that taste the same as they do when you order out.
I am always on the look out for the perfect takeaway recipes to add to my collection. Recently I have started being a bit more aware of how many calories food has (Thanks “Biggest Loser!!), and I was shocked to discover that a frozen pizza has more than 1000!
I also noticed that the article here on this blog that gets by FAR the most hits is… wait for it…. a recipe for homemade chicken goujons! (It’s here in case you missed it!) So I have been on the lookout for a good recipe book for healthier takeaway food. I came across this book on Amazon, and decided to summarize the readers reviews – if you have tried it, let me know what you think!!
Even if (like me), you are not on a particular diet, a WeightWatchers recipe can help you to make choices that are healthier. You can always add your own twists to them if you would like to be a little bit more decadent
The recipes cover many different cuisines, from Chinese to Mexican, from Thai to Greek and from Japanese to Italian.
It gets really good reviews, most people saying that the layout and pictures were enjoyable, and that the recipes were easy to follow, and tasted great! Maybe it’s one to add to the Amazon wishlist!!!
